Philip Toomey and William Benz Speak at Annual PELRAC Conference

Philip Toomey and William Benz spoke at the Annual Public Employer Labor Relations Association of California (PELRAC) Conference on the basic and advanced issues of fact-finding. The conference was held at the Queen Mary in Long Beach on Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 16. Mr. Toomey and Mr. Benz discussed the applicable time deadlines, advantages of not waiving or extending deadlines, mandatory processing obligations, proper handling of the post-hearing reports as well as provided an overview of the hearing process.

PELRAC is California’s only chapter affiliated with the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association, an organization which provides resources to public-sector labor relations and human resources professionals. PELRAC is a growing chapter formed by professionals with a desire to provide services to public sector labor relations practitioners in California.
